Our Recipe: Guitars, Drums, Vocals, Keys and Nothing Else.

We’re four guys from the Cleveland, Ohio area who share one simple belief: music is better when it’s played live, loud, and with heart.

We started out making waves as a blues/rock outfit, but over time our sound evolved into something bigger – country and country rock with grit, soul, and a little Northern edge. Now, Brethren is all about high-energy performances that honor the greats we grew up on while keeping it fresh for today’s crowds.

Our influences run deep: Chris Stapleton’s raw soul, Brothers Osborne’s guitar fire, Morgan Wallen’s modern country hooks, and John Mayer's musicianship. We mix that with classic favorites from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Meatloaf, all to keep every setlist both familiar and exciting.

We’ve played iconic venues like House of Blues Cleveland, The Agora, and countless bars, music clubs, private parties, and corporate events. Wherever we play, we show up on time, ready to work, and ready to make the night a success.

No egos, no drama, no excuses – just good music played right.

Lead Vocals, Guitars

Current Rig: Pod hd500 (keep it simple), my current go to guitar would have to be my JAMES TRUSSART (tone knob, volume knob, and a switch, the less I have to worry about the better).

Favorite Band or Artist:  U2.

Favorite Album(s): Joshua Tree, Guitar Slinger, Allen Stone.

Favorite songs(s) to play: Made Up Mind, Too Many Dirty Dishes, All These Things That I’ve Done.

How Would You Describe Your Musical Style: Modern blues.

Hash Browns or Home Fries: To this day I still can’t remember which one is which.

Jeremy Abraham

Bass, Vocals

Current Rig: Music Man Ernie Ball Stingrays and Yamaha BBP35. Aguilar and Markbass amps.

Favorite Band or Artist: John Mayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Brothers Osbourne, Kings of Leon. There are many more but these are the top for now.

Favorite Album(s): Red Hot Chili Pepper's with Mother's Milk and Blood Sugar Sex Magik. John Mayer's, Where the Light Is.

Favorite Songs to Play: Too hard to say but Kings of Leon because they have so many cool licks. Love to play any solid song with a simple beat as well.

How Would You Describe Your Musical Style: Definitely rhythmic with a funky twist. I like a lot of octave changes and ghost notes.

Hash Browns or Home Fries: Either, as long as they are crispy.

Jesse Keirn

Current Rig: Pearl Reference Series Drums, DW Hardware, Zildjian Cymbals.

Favorite Band or Artist: I can't name a favorite but the go to's in my playlist include Guns n' Roses, Shinedown, John Mayer, Zac Brown, Chris Stapleton, John Mellencamp, Brothers Osborne and Foo Fighters.

Favorite Album(s): Appetite for Destruction by Guns n' Roses from start to finish, hand's down.

Favorite Songs to Play: Anything fast and rockin’ because I’m still a metal head at heart.

Dave Haney

Favorite Songs to Play: Old Love, Ain't No Sunshine.

How Would You Describe Your Musical Style: Eclectic and unpolished.

Hash Browns or Home Fries: Hash browns, home fries are the cheap cousin of hash browns.
